Rock Hill Tire Co., a new and used tire business based in Rock Hill, S.C., burned down in a fire Friday morning.
Rock Hill Fire Battalion Chief Rusty Myers said firefighters arrived to the Rock Hill Tire Co. at 2:50 a.m. Friday, where they noticed flames coming through the roof of the building. He said it took crews nearly 45 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
The fire caused roughly $80,000 in damages and the building was destroyed, according to authorities. No injuries were reported, and the flames did not spread to any other businesses.
Myers said fire investigators won’t be able to determine a cause for the fire a while.
Rock Hill Tire Co. did not have insurance, according to Myers.
