Snap-on Diagnostics is now offering Software Upgrade 16.4. The latest upgrade covers 21 domestic makes, 15 Asian and optional coverage for 12 European makes.
“Software Upgrade 16.4 offers the most powerful diagnostics available today so technicians can master the unknown and do more jobs, with confidence,” said Leian Wunderlich, marketing manager at Snap-on Diagnostics. “Not only are customers getting more coverage to use on the toughest jobs, but it’s guaranteeing that their diagnostic tool is always providing the same comprehensive performance it did the day they bought it.”
With Software Upgrade 16.4, technicians have access to more than 98,000 new codes, tests, tips and data for model years 1996 to 2016, Snap-on said.
New features have been added to Software Upgrade 16.4 for Verus Edge, Modis Edge and Solus Edge users, as well. Instant ID reads the VIN automatically when connected to most 2008 and newer vehicles for all models.
Modis Edge and Verus Edge users have access to the New Vehicle System Report in Code Scan. And the Verus Edge gets access to technical service bulletins too.
