SIPS Continue Partnership with APA

After 15 years, Automotive Parts Associates will continue to support SIPS members with a focus on supplier programs to strengthen the purchasing leverage for all shareholders.

Automotive aftermarket parts association Society of Import Parts Specialists (SIPS) announces their renewed commitment with program group Automotive Parts Associates (APA). The SIPS group solidified their resolve upon the conclusion of their annual meeting held in conjunction with the APA 2018 Annual Shareholders’ and Manufacturers’ Conference in Orlando, Florida earlier this month.

Since roughly half of SIPS members were already shareholders of Automotive Parts Associates, the import parts association partnered with APA in 2003 in order to leverage the power of the national organization’s strong and established product programs that aligned with members’ needs.

“SIPS has enjoyed a terrific working relationship with APA for over fifteen years. Both of our great organizations are looking forward to teaming up together in 2018 and beyond to continue building on the synergy that capitalizes on the combined strengths of our common members,” said SIPS coordinator, Gary Garberg.

Automotive Parts Associates will continue to support SIPS members with a focus on supplier programs to strengthen the purchasing leverage for all shareholders. In addition, APA will host multiple meetings for the board of directors and committees between now and the next Annual Shareholders’ and Manufacturers’ Conference, March 13-15, 2019 in Dallas, Texas to develop new strategies and review product lines.

“We are excited about our continued partnership with the SIPS group and enthusiastic about the future of our alliance. In an industry that’s constantly changing, it’s important to keep our foundational bonds intact in order to support each other’s initiatives and successes,” added Douglas Squires, APA board chairman.
