SimpleTire Donates to Wounded Warriors Family Support

SimpleTire is giving back to military veterans and their families by donating 5% of their sales this Veterans' Day to Wounded Warrior Family Support.

In an effort to help support veterans and their families, SimpleTire, an online tire retailer that sources tire inventory from independent tire suppliers across the country, is donating 5% of all sales made on Nov. 10 to Wounded Warriors Family Support (WWFS), in honor of Veteran’s Day.

“SimpleTire’s continued support throughout the years has been amazing,” said Colonel John D. Folsom, USMCR, Founder and President of WWFS. “Each of their donations makes a real impact in the lives of military families who have had a member wounded or killed while serving.”

Wounded Warriors Family Support is an independent nonprofit organization that provides support to families of those who have been wounded, injured or killed in combat operations. WWFS provides services and resources to help aid military veterans and their families in healing the wounds that medicine cannot. WWFS has earned a four-star rating from Charity Navigator and the support of many.

“We are very grateful for all the men and women who have risked so much to protect our country and freedoms. The emotional, psychological and financial burden that fallen or injured veterans and their families endure is unimaginable. This donation is a small gesture expressing our deepest gratitude and support for their service,” said SimpleTire CEO, Andy Chalofsky.

If you could boil this year's Continental Tire GOLD member meeting into one takeaway, it's that the tire manufacturer is putting a whole lot of effort into listening and responding to its dealer base. Continental doesn't own company stores, so building a strong value proposition around the company's brands and products with its distributors and retailers is the most effective path to success. To maximize the mutual benefits of this partnership, Continental leadership says acting on the will of its dealer base – whether that's about product, programs, distribution, or anything else – is paramount.
