SHH to Exclusively Distribute Nankang Tyres In Brunei

(Clacton, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) Sin Hup Huat Co. has signed a memorandum of understanding with Nankang Rubber Tyres Corp. Taiwan, to exclusively market and sell Nankang’s full range of tyres for Brunei.

The tyre distribution deal will be supported by further contracts that SHH managing director Steven Kuan signed with Brunei’s Hyundai dealer Setia Motors Sdn. Bhd. This makes SHH Co. the preferred service provider for tyres, wheel services and roadside assistance for Setia Motors Sdn. Bhd.

SHH simultaneously sealed a deal with 24/7 Roadside Assist, represented by its managing director Mark Adams. 24/7 Roadside Assist will join forces with SHH Co. as its official affiliate service partner and retail outlet for roadside assistance service and preferred workshop.

James Chen, representative of Taipei Economic & Cultural Office, said the signing of the agreement would certainly create a win-win-win situation. Not only will Nankang and Sin Hup Huat profit, Brunei customers will also enjoy good quality and fairly priced Nankang tyres, he said.

Nankang Rubber Tyres has been established in Taiwan for 66 years and has formed business alliances with its many counterparts around the world, including but not limited to those in the LIS, Europe, and Brunei’s neighbouring countries, such Singapore and Malaysia, he said

“What remains unchanged for Nankang tyres are their two major features, endurance and safety,” he said. “Nankang tyres are popular in Taiwan and overseas markets because of their fair and reasonable prices.”

SHH Co. also announced the re-branding of its branches in Gadong and Lambak as Tyre Factory Gadong and Tyre Factory Lambak. SHH also sells Michelin tyres and Lenso alloy wheels.
