TPMS maker Huf Group launched its IntelliSens Universal Sensor at this week’s SEMA Show/Global Tire Expo (booth #42331).
Huf said the configurable universal sensor offers increased coverage to more than 35 million new vehicles and helps tire dealers limit the part numbers they need to stock. The IntelliSens Universal Sensor carries a lower cost point and has the ability to be reprogrammed after the sensor has been configured, the company said, adding that the sensor’s configuration process takes only three seconds.
“The IntelliSens Universal Sensor creates incredible value for tire and repair shops, allowing them to make the necessary evaluation and configuration in a timely manner with minimal inventory required,” said John Stratton, aftermarket sales manager for Huf North America Automotive Parts Manufacturing Corp.
