Hercules Tire rolled out the new Ironman All Country M/T at the company’s booth (#43085) at this week’s SEMA Show/Global Tire Expo.
With enhanced puncture-resistant features, the All Country M/T delivers outstanding off-road traction in the most adverse conditions and excellent durability in extended off-road use, according to the tiremaker.
“We’ve been building the Ironman brand line-up over the past few years. Our customers were very adamant about adding a true off-road product line,” said Joshua Simpson, vice president of marketing for Hercules Tires. “We expect this line to do well with both the serious off-road enthusiast and the casual enthusiast, who is looking for great performance and cosmetic appeal at an affordable position.”
According to Hercules, the tire, available in 16 sizes ranging from 15- to 20-inch wheel diameters, features: protection against stone drilling and puncture; shoulder blocks that easily shovel away mud, silt and sand and provide side-biting traction on off-road surfaces; a staggered buttress design for off-road capability and protection against high sidewall cuts and abrasion; a void ratio that promotes self-cleaning capability in muddy conditions; and a studdable tread that delivers extra “bite” in severe weather applications. Select sizes have a 3-ply sidewall to protect against cutting and tearing in off-road situations, the company added.
