#SEMA/GTE: Cooper Discoverer SRX Earns New Product Award

Cooper Tire’s new Discoverer SRX premium SUV/CUV tire received runner-up distinction in the best new tire category at this week’s SEMA Show/Global Tire Expo.

The Discoverer SRX captured the judges’ attention for its superior innovation, technical achievement, quality and workmanship, consumer appeal and marketability, according to the tiremaker.

“Cooper constantly strives to develop cutting-edge technology providing the best real-life tire performance for our consumers,” said Scott Jamieson, director of product management at Cooper. “It is an honor for one of our tires to achieve this type of accolade in the midst of such tough competition. We believe this is a testament to the consumer-friendly innovation Cooper delivers.”

The Discoverer SRX features Cooper’s Wear Square visual tread life indicator, 3D Micro-Gauge sipes, and StabilEdge and Winter-Edge technology. The tire, backed by Cooper’s premium 65,000-mile warranty and a 45-day road test guarantee, is currently available in six size options, with 30 additional sizes available in March 2015.
