SEMA Show 2006: BFGoodrich Pledges to Help CAN

(Las Vegas/Tire Review) Michelin North America, though its BFGoodrich tire group, has signed on as a project donor for DIRTsports/EMPI Team for a national Cure Autism Now (CAN) campaign, and has outfitted the campaign’s Baja 1000 vehicles with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires.

For every mile that the DIRTsports/EMPI-sponsored Class 11 VW sedan drives in the 1,000-mile course, BFGoodrich has pledge $1 to help fund research for Cure Autism Now. Corporate and private donations can be made by going to .

“BFGoodrich Tires is proud to give back and make a difference in other people’s lives during this year’s SCORE Baja 1000,” said Todd Steen, motorsports marketing manager for BFGoodrich. “We have a lasting legacy in motorsports history, especially in Baja and we are excited at the chance to have a greater purpose at this year’s race than merely just racing.”
