Sears will debut a new automotive service shop concept with its first “DieHard Auto Center Driven by Sears” opening in San Antonio, Texas, on Feb. 17.

According to Sears, the San Antonio DieHard Auto Center is “designed to meet the ever-changing needs of today’s driver,” and will feature interactive in-store merchandise displays and advanced diagnostic technology.

In addition to typical vehicle service and tire sales, the DieHard Auto Center will also offer:

  • DieHard 360° Vehicle Assessment – A comprehensive, third-party, 120-point inspection to assess the exact vehicle condition.
  • Free Performance Snapshot – A four-wheel alignment test, tire evaluation and a system diagnostic check completed in one stop that provides an easy-to-understand report with recommendations on service needs.
  • Digital Tire Journey – A web app that relies on IBM Watson Natural Language Classifier service to help customers identify the appropriate tires to fit their driving preferences. Touchscreens will also be available in the store to access the Digital Tire Journey.

The San Antonio DieHard Auto Center is located at 8551 Wurzbach Road.
