Schrader Performance Sensors, an OE manufacturer of tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), announced that W Rippetoe, the company’s senior technical lead, will be providing insights and training around the latest TPMS technology and service best practices.
Rippetoe will be presenting at TIA’s “TPMS at 10” at SEMA South Hall, S115 at 10 a m. He will highlight Schrader’s latest OE TPMS trailer technology that is currently available on the market. Rippetoe will also include an explanation of the basic functionalities of TPMS for trailer, features and benefits, as well as best practices during service.
On Wednesday, October 31 at 2 p.m., Rippetoe will be at AAPEX giving a 30 minute “Let’s Tech” regarding Schrader’s NEW 90-degree EZ-sensor technology. With this technology, owners with wheel applications featuring 90-degree valve holes have the option to add the many safety benefits of Schrader’s market-leading TPMS technology to their vehicle. Rippetoe will touch on the various applications for the 90-degree EZ-sensor as well as installation details, including programmability. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during the last 10 minutes of the presentation.
Also at AAPEZ, on Thursday, November 1 at 10 a.m., Rippetoe will deliver a 30 minute “Let’s Talk” on TPMS best practices, covering the basics of servicing TPMS. This presentation will include topics such as the importance of conducting a “Test Before Touch” procedure before every TPMS service, replacing service kits, programming, relearning, customer engagement and more. Attendees will have the ability to ask questions during the last 10 minutes of the presentation.
