Schrader said its EZ-sensor is the automotive industry’s first patented and programmable OEM-replacement TPMS sensor that is fully-programmable to function across diverse car makes and models. EZ-sensor uses patented Schrader technology to deliver a programmable sensor that requires only a single programming tool a tool required for any TPMS service, as well as one that most service and repair facilities already utilize today, according to the maker. With EZ-sensor, only two SKUs cover more than 84% of TPMS-enabled vehicles in North America, Schrader said, adding that the sensor also features the company’s patented snap-in TPMS valve and programming technology to help minimize installation time.
