Rhein Chemie Corp. appointed Christopher Mitchell as president and general manager, effective Sept. 16.
“Mr. Mitchell is a proven leader with a strong industry record and impressive credentials,” said Anno Borkowsky, president and CEO of Rhein Chemie Rheinau GmbH. “His comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the chemical industry and business will be vital in leading our sales efforts, strategic planning and initiatives as we expand our domestic and international business.”
As president and GM, Mitchell will be responsible for the growth and direction of Rhein Chemie North and South American operations.
Most recently Mitchell has served as group business manager for the rubber additives NAFTA at Rhein Chemie. Mitchell is has more than 40 years industry experience and has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from the University of Akron.
A supplier for the rubber, lubricant and plastic industries, Rhein Chemie provides additives, specialty chemicals and service products.
