RHD Tire said the new location will focus on supplying auto dealerships. RHD Tire handles a range of tire brands, including Bridgestone, Firestone, Goodyear, Dunlop, Republic, Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Continental, General, Hankook and Pirelli.
“RHD’s car dealer focus and multi-brand strategies have fueled growth to the point where opening a Metro Detroit location was the next logical step,” said Michael Korte, RHD director. “This new warehouse is ideal, and one from which we can better support and serve our expanding Metro Detroit customer base.”
Korte was chosen to lead the new regional endeavor because of his expertise and training in the GM-On the Roll, Ford-Around the Wheel and Chrysler Tire programs.
