Renault Business Finance Signs With Kwik-Fit Fleet

(Clacton, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) Kwik-Fit Fleet has won a rolling tyre repair and replacement contract with Renault Business Finance, which operates a fleet of more than 11,000 vehicles.

The contract, which went live on Aug. 1, was won from a so-far unnamed rival supplier.

The new arrangement will mean that Kwik-Fit Fleet, together with the Renault Dealer Network, will be the principal supplier of tyre services to Renault Business Finance. Michelin and Continental will be the primary tyre manufacturer suppliers under the terms of the new arrangement.

Mark Duckering, manager of fleet operations and service at Renault Business Finance, said: “We believe we are in business with our customers. Therefore, we aim to simplify the running of their vehicles and make their business more efficient. We believe that by choosing Kwik-Fit Fleet as a principal tyre supplier, we are doing just that, thus giving customers more time to develop their business and assist with keeping their fleet on the road.”

Renault Business Finance will utilise Kwik-Fit Fleet’s tyre management programme that sees the fast-fit supplier capture all tyre maintenance history by vehicle registration with the leasing company receiving a full download of all transactions undertaken.

This year, Kwik-Fit Fleet has won new business with companies including Lex Vehicle Leasing, Arval, ALD Automotive and lease 360 evolution.
