Radar Tires Supports Breast Cancer Research Foundation

Omni United has kicked off "Mobilizing Hope," a year-long partnership with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and is leveraging social media sites Facebook, Twitter and YouTube to give visibility to the fund-raising campaign.

Omni said that its Radar tire brand will donate 25 cents to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation for each Radar tire sold each year, with a committed minimum annual donation of $250,000.

“Omni United and Radar have enjoyed significant success and growth over the last few years and the company’s current objective is to increase both awareness and funds to support the efforts of BCRF, with the goal of raising $1 million over the next year,” the tire importer said.

"We at Omni-Radar believe that our company has a responsibility to the world beyond making a safe, durable, eco-friendly and attractive tire for our customers," said G.S. Sareen, president and CEO of Omni United. "We are proud and excited to support this campaign with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, one of the most highly regarded non-profit organizations in the world. We are great fans of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s work and dedication to the global cause of fighting breast cancer, a disease that has touched the lives of many in our communities.

“We admire BCRF’s efficiency and relentless focus on funding the most cutting edge medical research to prevent and find a cure for breast cancer,” the president said. “We would like Radar Tires to leave a different type of mark in the world."
