This year, Pirelli teamed up with Will Castro, star of Speed TV’s “Unique Whips” and owner of custom car specialist Unique Autosport. Cars on display included the 20-inch Pirelli P Zero Nero-shod Aston Martin DB9 of Nicole Jones, wife of Atlanta Braves’ star Andruw Jones; a 1970 Chevrolet Caprice belonging to Cleveland Cavaliers’ star Lebron James; and the Rolling Stones Tour Mercedes Benz “R” class, both on 22-inch Pirelli Scorpion Zeros.
“This show is an irresistible meeting of the automotive and entertainment industries,” commented Peter Tyson, PTNA’s vice president of communications. “Pirelli’s leadership in the urban market made it an obvious choice for our sponsorship and the large attendance at the show is testimony to the growing importance of this movement.”
