Police in Peoria, Ill., are investigating reports of theft at Rocket Tire Service.
The tire dealership reported thefts of approximately $200,000 over the course of several years, with a family member who owns stock in the dealership suspected of embezzlement, according to the Journal Star.
A owner of Rocket Tire Service contacted police and said a relative who had helped take over the business after the death of the previous owner had been caught on video taking cash and was found to have opened a line of credit that enabled rebates on items the company stocked, according to reports.
No arrests have been made.
