Point S said it currently is working to develop a branded tire lineup specifically designed to meet North American market demands.
The statement comes less than a month after the group announced its plans to add certain Tire Factory and Unimax Tire locations under its banner.
Point S Development, headquartered in Lyon, France, represents independent dealer groups in 27 countries representing 3,300 stores.
Point S introduced its first private label tire in 1995. Point S Development said the brand portfolio will soon be enlarged by the addition of further products. The Point S tire range currently is available in European markets and in South Africa.
A new global website, points-showroom.com, has been set up to promote the Point S private tire brand to end consumers. The desktop and mobile compatible site provides information about the full Point S tire range for cars, SUVs and vans and is available in seven languages.
