Pirelli & C. SpA reported its 2015 revenue grew 4.8% to 6.3 billion euros, which was above its more than 6.25 billion euros target.
According to the tiremaker, improvement in the price/mix component from price increases, greater sales in replacement market and diverse geographic and product mixes is responsible for the growth.
Sales in 2015 grew 4.9% to more than 6.3 billion euros, with consumer business sales totaling more than 5 billion euros, a 9.5% growth from 2014.
Industrial business sales totaled more than 1.2 billion euros, a 10.3% decrease from 2014.
The North America and Asia Pacific markets had the greatest revenue and profitability growth, with North America’s revenue growing 21.7%, Pirelli said.
