Pirelli Tops Segment in J.D. Power OE Tire Study

The Pirelli brand scored highest in the performance/sport segment of the recent J.D. Power & Associates OE Tire Customer Satisfaction Study.

Pirelli scored 742 on the study’s tire satisfaction index, 38 points ahead of the segment average of 704.

"A combination of technological features eliminates the previously unavoidable compromises associated with sporty driving: performance and comfort, acceleration and braking, on both road and track, and handling in wet and dry conditions," said Tom Gravalos, Pirelli Tire North America’s vice president of marketing, motorsports and OE.

The 2010 OE Tire Customer Satisfaction Study results were based on responses from nearly 30,000 new vehicle owners who purchased a 2008 or 2009 model year vehicle. The study was fielded between October and December 2009.
