Pirelli Develops Custom Tires for the Most Expensive Car in the World

Stelvio Corsa may sound more like the name of an Italian actor... but it's actually the name of the tire Pirelli created specifically for the most expensive car in the world.

The Stelvio Corsa may sound more like the name of an Italian actor… but it’s actually the name of the tire Pirelli created specifically for the most expensive car in the world.

The Ferrari 250 GTO, of which around 40 are on the market, will don a set of Stelvio Corsas, which are part of Pirelli’s line for vintage luxury racecars, according to Motor Authority.

The tires look similar to the type originally used on the 250 GTO back in the 1960s but feature modern technology for better grip, Road Show says.
