Pirelli Recalls Select P Zero Trofeo Tires - Tire Review Magazine

Pirelli Recalls Select P Zero Trofeo Tires

Pirelli is recalling certain P Zero Trofeo tires that may not be marked with a date code, thus failing to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard requirements.

According to the tiremaker, 42 P Zero Trofeo tires in size 225/50RR15 91Y and manufactured from April 1, 2015-April 7, 2015, may be affected.

Tires not marked with a date code make the tire difficult to identify in the event of a safety-related issue, which could cause the tire to not to be removed.

Pirelli will notify owners, and dealers will replace the tires missing the date code, free of charge. For more information, contact Pirelli customer service at 1-800-747-3554.
