Pirelli Launches New P Zero Tires

Pirelli_P_Zero_Corsa_01Thirty years after Pirelli first rolled out its P Zero tire, the tiremaker has launched a new line of its signature P Zero tires in Portugal.

The North America release date has not been announced.

The new P Zero line will feature three different tires: the P Zero for sports cars, P Zero for luxury sedans and the P Zero Corsa.

The sports car tire features a less sculpted tread pattern, while the luxury sedan tire’s tread pattern features a deeply grooved external shoulder to help absorb road surface impact and enhance comfort, Pirelli said.

The P Zero Corsa tire features a more aggressive tread design much like the P Zero motorsport slick tires, the tiremaker adds.

NRS Brakes has designed galvanized brake pads for the Tesla Model 3 specifically for electric/hybrid vehicle technology.

As moisture creeps through the porous nature of the friction material, it is compromising the untreated backing plat, NRS Brakes says. Usually, moisture in the friction material is dissipated as heat is created through normal braking routines.
