Performance Plus Hosting Thanksgiving Food Drive

2015-food-drive-&-hot-rod-happeningPerformance Plus Tire & Automotive Superstore is preparing for its 18th annual Thanksgiving Day Food Drive on Nov. 22, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The food drive will be hosted at Performance Plus’s 3910 Cherry Ave. retail store in Long Beach, Calif.

Volunteers will be a part of an assembly line to pack boxes and be able to see vintage vehicles on display at the “Hot Rod Happening;” visit and get an autograph from Chip Foose of “Overhaulin;” listen to live music from the “Jazz Angels”; and enjoy free coffee and donuts.

This year, the dealership’s a goal is to help 800 local families.

Performance Plus has fed more than 9,500 families over the past 18 years.
