Pelmar Engineering Appoints CEO

Israel-based tire industry machinery specialist Pelmar Engineering Ltd. has named Joseph Anglister its CEO. Anglister began his new role May 1, and took on some of the duties formerly carried out by the managing director Hagai Peled.
Prior to joining Pelmar, Joseph Anglister spent more than 20 years as the CEO of both public and private companies and gained broad experience in the tire and rubber industries. He is a graduate of the Technion -Israel Institute of Technology, with a master’s degree in operations research and bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering.
Pelmar founder and executive chairman Jacob Peled said that Jacob Anglister agreed to become CEO of the group, adding that Pelmar’s growth and expansion require quality management. Hagai Peled will continue to manage the Pelmar Group’s sales and marketing worldwide (Tyres & Accessories).
