OTR Wheel Engineering Names CEO

OTR Wheel Engineering has hired Phillip Ford as its new CEO, effective Nov. 4.

“Phillip is an innovative and energetic leader, with repeated successes in diverse industries. He has proven his ability to analyze business operations, products, markets and growth opportunities, and then introduce strategic solutions that improve competitive performance while increasing sales, profits and shareholder value,” said Fred Taylor, chairman of OTR Wheel Engineering.

Ford has more than 25 years of managerial experience in a variety of industries. Most recently, he worked as president of Capacity of Texas.

Ford holds an industrial engineering degree from the University of Alabama and an MBA from Georgia State University.

Nexen Tire to be the official tire partner of the San Diego Padres

Nexen Tire will be featured on a variety of marketing assets, including billboards and in-ballpark branding at Petco Park.

Nexen Tire America recently revealed a multi-year partnership with the Major League Baseball team San Diego Padres, spanning the 2024-27 seasons. As the Padres' exclusive tire partner, Nexen Tire will be featured on a variety of marketing assets, including digitally enhanced billboards, in-ballpark branding, mound signage, and more, at Petco Park. In 2023, the Padres drew the second-highest attendance in all of MLB.
