Omni Launches Timberland Tires E-Commerce Site, Installer Network

Omni United has launched an e-commerce site and installer network for its Timberland Tires brand. Timberland-Tires

Unveiled at SEMA, Timberland Tires are the first tires ever purposely designed to be recycled into footwear outsoles after their journey on the road is complete.

The newly launched timberlandtires.com allows consumers to purchase tires via an installer network of more than 1,100 locations. Consumers will pay for the tires online and shipping cost to the installer. A pre-determined instillation charge will be paid at the time of service, Omni said.

If consumers visit the site and tires are not currently available in the size for the vehicle selected, a notice will appear letting the customer know when tires will be available.

The site launched Friday with 20 sizes of the Timberland Cross. An additional 16 sizes will be available in September 2015.

Omni United will also release additional product lines, including the Timberland A/T, with 30 sizes in September 2015, and the Timberland Tour in 2016, it said.
