Omni Expands Radar Renegade Line with A/T Tire

RadarRenegade-AT5Omni-United USA has added the new Radar Renegade A/T-5 to its North American offerings.

“The Renegade A/T-5 is the pinnacle of the all-terrain SUV and light truck offerings from the Radar brand. This is our offering for those off-road enthusiasts who are looking for a product that has an aggressive tread pattern and sidewall designed to deliver improved off-road traction, without sacrificing highway performance.” said GS Sareen, founder and CEO of Omni-United.

The tire performs well in a variety of environments such as dirt, mud and snow, while still offering a quiet ride, Omni said.

Using new stone ejector technology, stones are ejected before they can clog the grooves and drill into the tire. The tire features raised serration between the tread blocks that deforms when the tire is rotating, opening and closing, and releases as the tire goes through the contact patch to eject stones, Omi said. This action helps to eject stones out of the tread pattern.

Additionally, the tire features 3 body ply construction and a wide center tread block to provide enhanced stability, handling and even treadwear as well as an aggressive look, Omni adds.

The Radar Renegade A/T-5 tire will be available in 57 sizes introduced in phases. The tire is currently available in 16 sizes, with 11 sizes planned for June 2016 and 30 sizes planned for late 2016/early 2017. The tire will have 21 raised outline white lettering sidewall sizes for image conscious consumers and is backed by a 40,000-mile treadwear warranty that carries a UTQG of 500 AA.
