Ohio Dealer Opens 6th Commercial Center

Gem City Tire opened its sixth commercial tire location, a 30,000-square-foot, full-service center near Cincinnati, Ohio.

Dayton, Ohio-based Gem City Tire opened its sixth commercial tire location, a 30,000-square-foot, full-service center in Sharonville, Ohio, near Cincinnati.
Gem City Tire's new Sharonville, Ohio, store is a full-service truck tire and service location.
Gem City’s new location is located near I-75 and I-275, which forms a complete beltway around the greater Cincinnati area. “This new center was built with the customer in mind, and provides a comprehensive range of services and amenities designed to keep trucks running efficiently and profitably,” said Jeff Lecklider, Gem City Tire’s founder and president.

In addition to offering Goodyear and Dunlop brand commercial truck tires, as well as retreaded tires that have been manufactured using Goodyear’s Unicircle and precure processes, the new center also offers Department of Transportation and tractor/trailer inspections; preventive maintenance services, including truck alignments and oil changes; light mechanical services; 10 GPS-equipped roadside service trucks that operate 24/7; pickup and delivery services for trucks that need mechanical work; wheel refinishing and powder coating; and two drive-through service bays.

Part of Goodyear’s FleetHQ program, Gem City Tire’s new location “underscores our commitment to serving the trucking industry with premium-quality products and the highest degree of service and professionalism,” said Lecklider.

Gem City Tire’s other commercial centers are located in Dayton, Ohio; Somerset, Ky.; Champaign, Ill; and Columbus and Indianapolis, Ind.
