Nominations Open for SEMA Committees

SEMA has opened up spots on its Select Committees, and is now taking nominations.

“Historically, nominations for Select Committee seats were only accepted from members of the individual council or committee,” SEMA said. “This year, the nominations process is open to all SEMA member company representatives, regardless of any council or committee affiliation.”

Any SEMA member may nominate an individual for one or multiple SEMA council or select committee seats. A nominee must, however, be a member of the council or committee for which he/she is being nominated, SEMA said.

All nominations must be received by 5 p.m. on Mar. 22, and can be done online at www.sema.org/councils-committees.

Nokian Tyres releases 2023 sustainability report

Highlights of the company’s sustainability actions in 2023 include a commitment to achieve science-based net-zero emissions by 2050.

Nokian Tyres recently published its Sustainability Report 2023. According to the report, Nokian Tyres achieved several external sustainability ratings, such as inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Europe Index, platinum medal from EcoVadis, an AAA rating from MSCI and a leadership-level score of A- on the CDP Climate report.
