Nexen Tire Corp. announced that several of its tires received design awards. The tiremaker’s Roadian HTX RH5 was honored with the US Good Design Award, while its N’fera RU5 won the Korean Good Design Awards and the N’Blue Premium won the Korean Pin Up Design Awards.
“Achieving a grand slam of world design awards and this US Good Design Awards is testament to our redoubled efforts to concentrate all our capabilities from performance and quality on the design of our products,” said Han Min-hyun, Nexen Tire vice president and R&D director.
The U.S. Good Design Awards is a design awards program organized by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Center for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies. Winners are selected by category through a review process.
The Korean Good Design Awards is a design award organized by The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Korea Institute of Design Promotion. The Pin Up Award is organized by the Korea Association of Industrial Designers and The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
