New Tire/Wheel Warranty Offer for Car Dealers

Primarily oriented to car dealers, CNA National Warranty Corp. has launched Preferred Tire Care, which it claims is "one of the industry’s best tire and wheel protection plans for auto consumers."

The warranty is available on new and used vehicles, CNA National said, offering tire and wheel coverage for the duration of the contract, including run-flat tires and coverage for “cosmetic damage and incidental curb contact.”

“PTC12 offers our most comprehensive coverage ever, securing additional peace of mind for our consumers and dealerships,” says Alan Miller, senior vice president of sales for CNA National. “Out-of-pocket costs for tire repair and replacement can easily exceed $1,000. With PTC12, most repairs and replacements for damage caused by road hazards are covered with no deductible.”

The deductible-free coverage includes the costs of mounting, balancing, valve stems and taxes, as well as rental car, roadside assistance and towing benefits. CAN National said PTC12 offers unlimited claim benefits with no limits on occurrences or mileage.

“By offering an enhanced PTC12 package, we have a product that can compete with any tire and wheel protection package in the industry,” said Miller. “We have eliminated the possible expense of tire and wheel damage caused by road hazards, and PTC12 is designed for the consumer’s needs since they can select coverage that lasts one to five years, depending on how long they plan to keep the vehicle.”
