New Sprayer Tire Line from Titan

Titan Tire has introduced the Goodyear Ultra Sprayer line of tires specifically designed for high clearance, self-propelled sprayers.

The tiremaker said the Ultra Sprayer tire features “tread bars engineered to carry heavy sprayer loads and a wider lug to promote longer wear characteristics as compared to conventional tractor tires. These design features also provide more stability and a better ride when traveling from field-to-field at road speeds up to 30 mph.”

A larger lug surface area helps improve lug wear and traction, while increases in lug bracing and surface area help improve durability, even under heavier loads.

“In the past, many manufacturers used conventional tractor tires on self-propelled sprayers,” said Jeff Vasichek, Titan’s vice president of sales and marketing. “Conventional rear tires were not built to accommodate the high load and pressure demands of today’s self-propelled sprayers. The Ultra Sprayer line was designed specifically for this application.”

The line is available in 46-, 50- and 54-inch sizes and widths from 12.6 to 15.2 inches to accommodate row spacing from 20 to 36 inches.
