New OTR Tire Dealer Opens in Nevada

OTR tire veterans Michael McCarley and David Travis have teamed up to launch OTR Tire Supply, a new OTR tire sales and service operation based in Reno, Nev.

The business officially launched Feb. 18.

With a promise to deliver 20% cost reductions to mines around the world, OTR Tire Supply is using the company’s proprietary Tire Asset Management system, in which the company says it consults with individual mines to “develop and implement a comprehensive, customized tire system.”

“Tire operating conditions and maintenance practices have as much to do with tire performance as the design of the tire itself,” said McCarley. “Utilizing a staff of OTR tire professionals and experienced mining engineers, OTR Tire Supply assesses each individual mine and delivers a tire service and maintenance system that optimizes tire performance and delivers significant cost savings directly to the bottom line.”

“By bringing together a team of highly-experienced industry professionals, we are able to offer our clients previously unforeseen reductions in operating costs, regardless of the size of the mine or geographic location,” said co-owner Travis. “In addition, we offer all of our services online, allowing us to help a mine with a single piece of equipment or an entire fleet.”
