NAPA’s new premium disc brake pads, according to the NAPA Rayloc, "offer the most extensive line of friction materials in the industry, including ceramic, semi-metallic and non-asbestos organic."
Sold under the NAPA Premium product name, the pads all come with Silent Guard shim technology – with a new fiber-reinforced, vulcanized rubber shim material – to reduce brake noise.
NAPA Rayloc said that the new NAPA Premium lineup includes more than 1,000 part numbers for cars, SUVs and light trucks. All of the pads are chamfered, are OE-matched for proper fit and performance, and have OE-matched slots for pad stability under harsh braking conditions and reduced noise.
“We spent a lot of time talking to professional brake installers about what they want and need in a replacement disc brake pad,” said Mike Gaffney, NAPA Rayloc vice president of sales and marketing. “They expect disc brake pads that are functional and that simply work, resulting in happy customers and profitable, growing business. With NAPA Premium, we combined all our customers’ wants and needs into one great product that is designed to eliminate the most common reasons for customer comebacks and is steps above the competition.”
