The former Performance Tires & Wheels section sponsored by TIA will now be called Tires, Wheels & Equipment.

“This name change is a result of feedback from exhibitors and attendees for a name that more closely fits the products that are being displayed in this popular section of the trade show,” said Roy Littlefield, TIA executive vice president.

TIA is also moving its headquarters hotel from Caesars Palace to the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, a facility TIA once called home when it was known as the Aladdin Resort and Casino.

The 2008 SEMA Show will be held Nov. 3-7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. (Tire Review/Akron)
