New Leverless Tire Changer From Corghi

Corghi has launched its A 2024LL automatic tire changer in the U.S. market. The changer features a top bead demounting procedure, which uses the same working movements as a manual demount using a tire lever but requires absolutely no effort from the operator thanks to the “leva la leva” technology incorporated in the mount/demount head, according to the company.

The machine also features pneumatic tilting, a turntable system and an adjustable bead breaker arm that is supplied with a shoe extension system for use on large diameter wheels. Available options include one of Corghi’s supplementary bead breaker systems – the SP3000 (for ultra hard beads and particularly demanding technologies), the SP2000 (for extra low profile tires, racing wheels in light alloy and wheels fitted with TPMS) or the PU1500 pneumatic power unit. The A 2024LL tire changer is suitable for tires up to 14 inches wide and 43 inches in diameter and offers an inside clamping capacity of 13-26 inches and an outside clamping capacity of 10-24 inches.
