New Launch Lifts Meet ALI Certification

Launch Tech USA Inc. announced that its three new two-post vehicle lift models have met the requirements for certification under the Automotive Lift Institute’s Automotive Lift Certification Program.

Launch also has formally applied for membership in the Automotive Lift Institute.

Jeffrey Qu, CEO of Launch Tech USA Inc., said, “By teaming with ALI’s vehicle lift certification program, Launch can assure our customers that our products meet the highest manufacturing and safety requirements.”

The three new models receiving certification were the TLT210-A, an asymmetric-designed lift with 10,000-pound capacity; the TLT210-AS, a symmetric lift with 10,000-pound capacity; and the TLT211-AS symmetric lift with 11,000-pound capacity.

All three new lift models feature height adjustable columns and the ability to lift a vehicle in either offset or standard configuration. Standard features include double telescoping screw pads, single point lock release, heavy-duty arm restraints, outer hose guards, rubber door guards and powder-coated paint.

Launch said that these three new models will be available by the fourth quarter of 2011 and will be on display in AAPEX booth 1461 and SEMA booth 10148.

If you could boil this year's Continental Tire GOLD member meeting into one takeaway, it's that the tire manufacturer is putting a whole lot of effort into listening and responding to its dealer base. Continental doesn't own company stores, so building a strong value proposition around the company's brands and products with its distributors and retailers is the most effective path to success. To maximize the mutual benefits of this partnership, Continental leadership says acting on the will of its dealer base – whether that's about product, programs, distribution, or anything else – is paramount.
