New HP All-Weather Tire from Toyo

The Toyo Extensa HP II, a high-performance, all-season tire available in over 50 sizes promises improved stopping performance over the previous generation, and better all-around performance thanks to improved material and tread designs.

Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. has launched the Toyo Extensa HP II, a high-performance, all-season tire for passenger cars. Redesigned and reengineered, the Extensa HP II is designed to deliver exceptional all-season handling at an affordable price without sacrificing comfort. It also includes a 45,000-mile warranty.

“With improved performance, improved styling, and a 45,000-mile warranty, the Extensa HP II is a go-to tire for value-minded car owners needing to replace high performance tires,” said Randy Gaetz, senior vice president of sales for Toyo Tire U.S.A.  “They can feel confident with their choice, knowing the Extensa HP II is also backed by the Toyo Tires No Regrets 45 Day/500 Mile Trial Offer.

This value-driven, high performance tire is designed to strike a balance between high quality, outstanding performance and dynamic styling. The Extensa HP II stops up to 31 feet shorter in wet conditions than its predecessor based on third-party testing, according to the company.

The improved all-season traction is a result of a special silica compound combined with a new, unidirectional tread design. Specific features that enhance braking performance include single-cut and double-cut tapers in the tread blocks. Full depth multi-wave sipes minimize irregular wear for a smooth, quiet ride and improve light snow traction.

The new Extensa HP II is available in more than 50 sizes, from 15- to 20-inches, and in both V and W speed ratings. Visit to learn more about the Extensa HP II, including details on the warranty, trial offer and performance claims.
