The manufacturer describes the ConRad is “ideally suited for heavy transport or lift trucks carrying loads up to 10 tonnes in weight, operating on smooth, paved and mixed terrain.”
Engineers designed the ConRad following operator demands for a heavy-duty radial tyre that provides the same performance of the ConRad HT but across a broader range of applications, the company said. The ConRad shares the radial construction of the ConRad HT, which is designed for cooler running, increased mileage and exceptional durability, while its antistatic compound means improved safety in operation.
Continental says it will replace the following five sizes out of the existing ConRad HT portfolio with the new ConRad during the first quarter of 2006: 7.00R12, 8.25R15, 250/70R15, 315/70R15, 12.0020.
