The company said it was designed for high volume shops. The new unit automatically positions the tire/wheel assembly at the “corrective weight position,” and “stops and locks the spindle to aid in wheel weight installation.”
In addition to automatic indexing for weight positions, the Coats 1250-3D’s stop and lock function works seamlessly with the EconoBalance balancing mode, resulting in decreased use of corrective weight and reducing the number of “re-spins” compared to conventional balancers.
The direct drive Coats 1250-3D features a 3-D auto data entry system, which automatically measures three parameters for analyzing balance, “virtually eliminating lengthy measuring and manual data entry,” Hennessy said. (Tire Review/Akron)
