The new battery provides longer operation life, faster charging without risk of reducing operation life, extended operation range, and improved safety due to its lower risk of fire or explosion, TireStamp said.
It replaces a lithium ion battery previously used for TireVigil InTow packages; that battery had a two-year lifespan, TireStamp said. The new battery is expected to last an average of 10 years.
“Use of this new battery is another example of how we are constantly striving to provide our customers with the latest in technological advances,” said TireStamp President Peggy Fisher. “Our customers will benefit from a more durable, reliable, longer-lasting battery that is very economical.” (Tire Review/Akron)
