Vice President of Human Resources at Tire Discounters Stephanie Huff has been recognized with the National Diversity Council’s 2014 Glass Ceiling Award. The award, which Huff accepted during the Ohio Conference for Women on May 20, recognizes and honors women who have not only achieved personal success but have made it possible for others to more easily follow in their footsteps.
“Like many before me, my career path has been filled with a combination of twists and turns that have gotten me to where I am today,” said Huff. “I’m grateful for the support of my family, friends and colleagues, and I’m really looking forward to leveraging my award to achievements help other women in business.”
Huff has been in recruiting, training and other human resources roles at Tire Discounters since 2011. Since coming on board, the company has grown from 450 employees to nearly 1,000 and has expanded to three new markets.
At the Ohio Conference for Women, Huff also spoke on a morning panel discussing “Succeeding at Life 24/7.”
