Myers May Sell Off Operations

Myers Industries Inc. may be looking to unload parts of its business.

According to the Akron Bacon Journal, Myers Industries is considering the sale of its Ameri-Kart, Buckhorn Rubber Products, Michigan Rubber Products and WEK Industries units, which produce rubber and plastic goods for auto and truck OEMs.

Myers Industries remaining operations are in lawn and garden, material handling and distribution – its original tire and service product business. (Tire Review/Akron)
