Multimillion Dirham Complex Opens in Dubai

(Clacton, U.K./Tyres & Accessories) Al Saeedi Group, a leading Dubai-based tyre distributor, has opened a new corporate, service and warehousing complex in the country's Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZ).

The 100,000-square foot facility was inaugurated by Jamal Majid bin Thaniah, group CEO, Ports & Free Zone World, in the presence of Y.K. Sinha, Consul-General of India, along with local dignitaries and executives representing world’s leading tyre brands.

The multimillion-dirham complex, designed as a one-stop shop for a range of tyre-related products and services, also incorporates a sales division. The service facility is equipped with European tyre changing, balancing and wheel alignment equipment. The facility is equipped to meet the requirements of heavy trucks and off the road vehicles. The service centre also provides sales and fitment of Solideal brand of solid, industrial, pneumatic and construction equipment tyres.

Kuttan Malattiri, managing director of Al Saeedi Group, said the modern facility was designed to meet the growing requirements and sophistication of the domestic tyre market, which has been recording 25 per cent annual growth. "Al Saeedi Group, an ISO certified tyre distributor with focus on corporate customers, has always been innovative in its approach to providing total tyre solutions to its client’s requirements. We have pioneered the concept of mobile tyre units to ensure 24-hour service to our customers anywhere in the UAE," Malattiri told the Khaleej Times.

Al Saeedi Group, which operates six service centres in Dubai, is the sole distributor of Solideal tyres, Galaxy tyres, Indian tyres, Deta Automotive batteries, Euro Tyfoon tyres, Tech Products and Schrader tyre material. It also handles brands like Michelin, Yokohama, Bridgestone, Dunlop and Goodyear.
