Available in 13 sizes for tractors from 80 to 200 hp, the MultiBib features new rubber compounds and a redesigned internal structure, the tiremaker said. It also offers 35% longer tire life, improved traction and increased carrying capacity.
Michelin also said the MultiBib can typically run at 3 psi lower inflation pressure than equivalent tires, resulting in a larger contact patch for traction.
“The 65-series tire segment, which Michelin created with the XM108, now represents 16% of the total replacement tire market in Europe and a larger percentage than that of the tires we supply to European tractor factories,” said Philippe Miret, head of Michelin’s worldwide farm tire business.
