Mitas Releases New Sizes of CHO Harvester Tire

Mitas will roll out five new sizes for its CHO tires during the upcoming Agritechnica 2013 fair in Hannover, Germany.

Mitas will roll out five new sizes for its CHO (cyclic harvesting operation) tires during the upcoming Agritechnica 2013 fair in Hannover, Germany.

“The range extension of CHO tires proves these tires are a favorite choice of combine harvester producers,” said Andrew Mabin, Mitas’ sales and marketing director.

Unveiled under the Continental and Mitas brands, were five additional sizes: 900/70R32 CHO 182A8/179B; 680/85R32 CHO 178A8/175B; 800/70R38 CHO 178D/181A8; 900/60R32 CHO 176A8/173B; and 900/60R38 CHO 178D/181A8. This makes the sixth size in the CHO harvester tire, which is also available in 800/70R32 CHO 175A8/172B.

The CHO tires are designed to provide higher maximum loads than conventional tires, while providing gentler ground handling in the field, the company said.

TIA chooses Planet Hollywood for SEMA pre-show events

TIA’s pre-show events, encompassing the annual membership meeting and cocktail reception, will happen at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

The Tire Industry Association (TIA) revealed the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino as the host hotel for the pre-show events leading up to the Global Tire Expo (GTE) during the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, taking place from Nov. 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

TIA’s pre-show events, encompassing the annual membership meeting and cocktail reception, are set to take place on Monday, Nov. 4. The association said these events offer networking opportunities and insights into the latest TIA developments. Attendance is complimentary, however, securing a spot requires a reservation of a ticket.
