Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels will offer a new 45,000-mile Tread Wear Warranty with its Baja ATZ P3 off-road tire.
“Our customers are purchasing more than just tires for their light trucks and SUVs,” said Ken Warner, vice president of marketing for Mickey Thompson. “They are purchasing the confidence and assurance that the Baja ATZ P3 will perform reliably both off-road and on the highway, and this new warranty is our way of validating their trust and confidence.”
The new Tread Wear Warranty provides the purchaser a pro-rated credit toward the purchase of a new Mickey Thompson tire if the tire wears down to the tread wear indicators before 45,000 miles. Standard limitations apply, including proper fitment to vehicle, documented rotations and submission of records to Mickey Thompson.
The Baja ATZ P3 features Mickey Thompson’s PowerPly 3-ply sidewall and a new compound with improved cut and chip resistance, the company said. Additionally, the tire offers an extra wide footprint with large tread blocks and multi-draft, self-cleaning grooves.
