Michelin Canada announced that its tire manufacturing plants in Bridgewater and Waterville, Nova Scotia, will be running on natural gas by the end of the month.
According to local reports, each plant has a natural gas decompression station that will be connected to plant boiler rooms once commissioning is completed.
In a statement, Michelin said it will conduct alarm and connection tests. It also warned that while residents may see a flame from a flare stack, it is considered common during commissioning.
